DEFENESTRATION means to throw someone out of a Window. How that relates to this highenergy mix of Celtic music, rap, funk and rock is anybody's guess. Only the band know for sure. At times Jacky Tar play sparse jigs and reels that take you to a session Very tradtional. Other tracks blend electronic noise with hip hop style beats and bagpipes, Very experimental. Then they play straight ahead pub rock Very Australian. The album sacrifices continuity for variety, but when it's good its world music in the best sense combining influences from all over the planet.
